FOREST GROVE, Ore. — The Pacific Boxer wrapped the 2016 regular season with a 1-0 home victory over the George Fox Bruins that earned them second place in the NWC standings, thanks to an early goal in the 25th minute by Shawn Opfer at Hanson Stadium on Saturday.

SPOKANE, Wash. – Having already clinched the 2016 NWC title and an NCAA playoff berth, the Whitworth Pirates celebrated Senior Day at the Whitworth Soccer Field Saturday with a 1-1 double-overtime tie against the Whitman Blues to end the regular season.

Linfield 2, at Willamette 1

SALEM, Ore. – Recording their second consecutive victory, the Linfield Wildcats spoiled Senior Day for Willamette by taking a 2-1 victory from the Bearcats on the final day of the season Saturday afternoon at Sparks Field behind goals from Isaias Flores and Rhys Lendio.

at Puget Sound 2, Pacific Lutheran 1

TACOMA, Wash. – Dane Schatz scored the game-tying goal in the first half and Josh Sonico scored the game-winner in the second half as the Puget Sound Loggers defeated the Pacific Lutheran Lutes 2-1 on Saturday afternoon during a rainy Senior Day.
